This is a fantastic tool roll. I am replacing two other rolls with this one. Bought the same roll at over twice the price a couple of years ago and considered it a good purchase. Well made of a heavy grade material with room for more tools than most rolls.
Bag is heavy duty and well made. I ordered tools at the same time from Oriental touch, I was not satisfied with having to pay separate shipping of $5 for the bag arriving at separate times Various pouch sizes allow a variety of tools to be held.
Nice product; much larger than I expected, probably won't make full use of all the pockets.
No luck. I'd combed the stores in Hawaii and in Tokyo and Osaka, with no luck. If there were a way to give six stars for service and promptness, I would.
The various sensei in my beginner classes last fall had advised that we find ways to keep each tool separate from the other, and one of them had a homemade triple-thickness denim roll that looked like an old-fashioned chisel roll. I also like that the roll has handles and adjustable buckles. Some of them have sentimental value because I purchased them in Japan, and the higher-end tools are pricey, so they deserve care and attention to ensure they'll last for the decades they're meant to. The widest pocket does, perfectly (see below). I'm a bonsai student and wanted a sturdy, practical way to store and protect my growing collection of tools. With all the purpose-made items one can find in Japan, I'd waited on making my own, hoping that I'd find a durable, securable roll for my tools while shopping on vacation.
