So far I'm impressed with this little shaper, I was surprised that the base is cast iron I expected it to be plastic. It would be nice if a 1/2 collet was available, but not a big problem. I would like to have cast iron table extensions and an affordable stand with locking wheels would be nice. For you who don't know what a collet is, it is the part in a router that holds the router bit.
I did not find the width measurements on this item,. Also what is a collet. 2 inches 3 inches or wider. how wide a board will it cut.
