General Tools S475 Swiss Pattern Needle File Set Reviews
My girlfriend uses them to trim mold flash off her miniatures. I don't think they can ship any other way to prevent corrosion. The only thing she didn't like was they were oily when they arrived. She says they work great for that task.
I've seen other hobby file sets that cost just as much or more than this one, and have only six or eight files.`Late These files are just the right size and type for removing `flash' and mold lines off of plastic and soft metal hobby miniatures and models. And they come in all the shapes and contours to smooth out just about any work piece. I recommend a good wire brush as a cleaning accessory.This set's also a pretty good value. However, they do manage to collect quite a bit of filed plastic & metal dust in their grooves.
