GB SE-94 10 Gauge to 26 Gauge Automatic Stripper and Crimper Reviews

One day im workin i pick them up and go to strip a wire and i notice 1 of the clamps will not clamp the wire, and gets stuck open so evertime i go to strip a wire i have to click the clamp back into place. When i found them on here i was happy, I purchased them. I used them for about 3 weeks and the worked fine. I do car electronics for a living and I had a different set of these i had bought at home depot which i loved, but unfortunatly i losed them. So i decided to try to buy a new pair and for some reason home depot or lowes no longer sells them. I finally figured out that one of the screws had fell out and i have no clue where it went so basiclly there useless till i can track do a screw that will fit them. They were shipped to me very quikly which is always nice.

Or pinch the insulation as you strip them so they wont move. Everything works as expected, and the stripper is really creative. Recommended for those who don't want to waste 10-20% stripping wires. Bought this for my electrical engineering courses at school. It does have a small CON with short wires (like 2-3 inches) it has trouble stripping them without moving/removing the entire insulation(not like manual strippers are any better). As for long wires, > 3 inches, it has no problem stripping them. With improvisation, you can get around this by just stripping one side, then adjust the insulation to the center.

I highly recommend this excellent tool. I bought this crimper for use in wiring a home theater. Once I figured out how to use the crimper it made short work of the job. I've had probably 5-6 wire strippers before, but this tool was clearly superior. Zero broken strands, yielding nice, clean, even stripped ends for the banana plugs.

Squeeze handles (easy one-hand operation). (and no nicked conductors). In comes the auto stripper and crimper. THEN you have to hold the wire tight as you YANK against the little piece that you just cut which is SUPPOSED to pop right off (But rarely does). Admire perfectly stripped wire with NO work at all. I haven't had an electrical job to do lately so just for giggles I was cutting and stripping, cutting and stripping a piece of scrap wire just because the process is now so magical. Finally, the stripped piece flies off with gusto (along with a few strands of your wire), making you bang your hand against the closest, hardest thing that you didn't know was there. I am no professional electrician, but I do all my own work on my car audio and also some basic electrical around the house (installing some lights, a garbage disposal, etc).

For YEARS i have used the same electrical tool.ya know, the common one where in order to strip a wire, you pick the right gauge area, crimp the handles down tight, then try to hold the wire and keep it from twisting as you TWIRL the tool around, hopefully making an even cut around the insulation. Seriously. This thing is amazing. Insert wire (any gauge, any type) into the jaws.

I have big hangs and this has good ergonomics. This tool definitely falls into the #1 category. What a piece of 3rd world garbage. So so kind of tool and does a pretty good job.should have bought the better brand. 2. In general, tools fall into three categories for me: 1.

Great tool that does what it's supposed to and does it well. Hope this helps you in deciding to buy a great tool and a great price. I like the quality, ease of use (If you have a hard time using THIS tool, please do not use any tools and hire someone)., and the comfort of this tool. 3.
