the Gardena Trigger Nozzle with Quick Connect Set #36950-12 is simply the best watering tool in your garden.
I love the easy way it adjusts, the way it feels in my hand and the light weight when I am using it for any length of time. I just wish Amazon carried the full line of Gardena products.
Finally, to my delight, I found out that I could get some of the Gardena products at Amazon and ordered this nozzle immediately. I tried 3 different nozzles available in Lowe's and Home Depot at my new home (as Gardena wasn't available here in Jersey) and wasn't crazy about any of them.
This is the second Gardena Trigger Nozzle I have purchased. My last one lasted over 10 years and somehow it got left behind when I moved.
They're such great quality and so hard to find. Obviously, with our New Jersey winters, I put all my garden stuff away before winter so have none of the freezing cracking problems mentioned by another review.
Happy to have an old friend back in my hands.
The nozzle pictured is not the nozzle I recieved. The nozzles work fine just not what I wanted. I wanted the one with the flow control but received nozzles with that feature missing in design.
This is much slower and does not give the control of water flow that the model with the lever gives. BEWARE that the picture in the Amazon write-up shows a nozzle that has an orange lever at the very top of the nozzle for adjusting the volume of water going through the nozzle from a trickle to full open. In order to adjust the water on the model they send you, you have to adjust the orange knob at the back of the nozzle. These nozzles are good whenever you have an application where a metal nozzle might accidentally touch the item you are spraying and scratch the surface. For example washing your car or your boat. Having said this, I still would recommend the product if you do NOT need the water flow feature. Also if you try to order the model that really does have the lever, you find it is from one of the Amazon associate stores so when I tried to exchange the one they sent for the one with the lever control, I would have had to pay shipping. The nozzle they send you is a model that DOES NOT have this lever.
Being a Gardena "junkie", I have bought MANY of their products. Widh they would bring back their little spike sprinkler of several years ago. This one does all it is supposed to do.
