The only fault I see is the lock that engages sometimes while you're snipping. This is a great tool. I liked it so much that I bought one for my best friend. Fiskars Softouch Micro-Tip Pruning Snip #9921. It's sharp, lightweight, and fits comfortably in my hand. However, that is easily fixed and doesn't affect my satisfaction with this tool. Even my husband noticed how much easier it was for me to do the pruning.
. these little nippers get into place big shears can't. i bought my last pair about 10 years ago and they're still doing remarkably well for their age. They're great for deadheading or topping off plants so you get bushier growth.

We are avid gardeners are do a lot of deadheading. The blades are so pointy that you can get right in to the exact spot you want to snip, without breaking off other stems and flowers you want to leave intact. I think someone who arranges cut flowers would also like these snips. These are great for deadheading. They are super-sharp, and have a nice "ergonomically correct" feel. Examples: Perfect for exact and precise deadheading of peach-leaved bellflower, petunias, Sarastro bellflower. We bought one pair, then we bought more.
