I finally made my perfet 60" x 36" work bench just the way I wanted at less than half the expense I was expecting. Coudn't be more satisfied. This kit is an awesome solution that leaves the guesswork out when it comes to building your own bench to your custom dimensions.
There is no wobble whatsoever. The 6 shelf links included are excellent for building a hutch to store parts drawers and other accessories. It took me about two hours to assemble from opening the box to the final screw. Since you supply the lumber, you can create any dimension workbench that you desire. The shelving is perfect for storing 2x4 stock, plywood boards, and some hand tools. I think this is a great product for a great price. Mine is 7' x 30" and fits perfectly into my workshop. I was in the market for a workbench and was looking for something that is the correct dimensions to fit into the space I was desigining, is very solid, and has shelving for storage.
This is the perfect product to satisfy these needs. The kit also comes with some resin hooks for hanging tools, etc. The bench is extremely solid and easily holds the weight of all the bench tools and wood stock I store on it.
I made a 8'x30" bench with a peg board backing. I used 14 8' 2x4's, one shelf made of OSB and for the work top I used 4x8 sheet of oak plywood. Setting this up was a snap. It's great to have a place to work. I can't say enough about how fast and easy this set up.
It was a good project for my husband and I, and we were both pleased with our creation. The price hasn't dropped since, but when it does, I'll be ordering another.
It took us about 2 hours to put the bench to put the bench together, then another 3 weeks to organize our garage around it. This was one of the best investments ever, especially since it comes with the shelf links, that alone cost 30 d-llers.
I stalked this work bench until it came down in price, and snatched one up even though I knew it would be months until we had a chance to put it together. Sadly, I didn't snatch 2.
Great product.couldn't recommend it more. Most of all, we were pleased for less than 100, we could get a shelving unit and a sturdy made-to-order workbench.

And the bench is ROCK solid. You won't be dissappointed. I find myself going into the garage just looking for stuff to fix. This bench has completely turned around my garage. I looked into other premade benches and none can compare to the price or ability to be custom fit to your exact needs. I love this workbench.
One of my best purchases ever. I hammer stuff on it and it's super sturdy. You can save a little money and build one similar without the kit, but the kit saves you a ton of time because it was so easy to make and the finished product looks very professional and very clean. Now everything is organized and easy to find.
