Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool

Designed for drilling, sanding, shaping, detailing and other light-duty jobs, this compact, go-anywhere, use-anytime tool comes in extremely handy in and around the house. It features two speeds and can be used with any Dremel accessory bit with up to a 1/8" shank.

We started counting all the uses for this little dynamo, but we stopped at 967. We like it for delicate tasks and finer work because it isn?t as powerful as its big brothers, so it?s easier to control. It?s light, extremely maneuverable, the switch is exactly where you want it and heck, it?s just plain fun to use. It?s perfect for jewelry, electronics, tiny woodworking crafts like dollhouse furniture and other intricate hobbies. It uses Dremel?s wide array of bits, so there?s virtually no limit to what you can do with this. Sure, there are store brands on the market for less, but Dremel is king when it comes to rotary tools, and we think they outdid themselves with this one.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool Reviews

Am hesitant about continuing to use it. to shorten them so they don't become too long. Purchased primarily to file dog's claws e.g. Dog is long-haired and despite my efforts to trim hair in the vicinity of his paws, it seems as if I'd have to trim his legs an inch or more to avoid the hair becoming entangled in the rotating device. About ready to revert back to the hand-operated claw trimer formerly used. Neither he nor I enjoy that.

He already seems to like getting an electric massage, so now it is simply a matter of him knowing that he is safe with this and he should be more accepting of it. It is easy to use and has a nice charger unit. I believe after we have a couple more experiences with the tool, he will be pretty OK with it. He, my dog, seemed to not want any machine anywhere near him, but he got used to it quickly and seemed to calm down some then. I will have other projects for the tool soon, but have only used it for the dogs nails so far. I know there are a number of other machines on the market for this purpose, but don't know anything about them, and liked this one. He really doesn't like his front paws handled at all, but when I did them he was only moderately difficult. I purchased this tool for the specific purpose of trimming my dog's nails.

Well it works fine, I did his back feet one day and then the front feet the next day. So, I recommend this tool as much as I can having only used it in a limited way. He just has to become familiar with a new devise before he will be OK with it.

The dogs have never really like the toe nail cutting process. I especially like the fact that it is cordless. The toenails do kinda smell when grinding but not too bad. The noise did not seem to bother them. With the Dremel tool they were patient and just layed there while I 'clipped' their toes.

The only thing that would keep their attention with clippers was the prospect of a treat at the end. I purchased this tool to groom my two dogs toe nails. It works like a charm. Oh Yeah, they still get the treat. I am glad I bought this tool.

Now it is possible to smooth out the toes instead of leaving jagged edges.

The other thing I like about it: if any hair gets caught it in it, it immediately stops spinning. We use it 7-10 times a day and I have never had the battery go dead. It's great. i am a professional dog groomer and I think you will be pleased with this. It does a nice job. It is perfect for pet use. I think that is because the RPM's aren't as high as dremels that you use for sanding wood, metal, etc. Plug it in overnight and use it in the morning for a 12 hour day.
